Lakeside Games is two developers who like simulation games and decided to start making their own.
We build the kind of games we wanted to play and could not find: simulations with enough depth that the interesting stories come out of the systems, not out of a script. A political world that keeps moving whether you are there or not. A transit builder that uses the real city, not an approximation of one. Election campaigns that start from what actually happened.
We run everything ourselves: the game servers, the live world that has been advancing every hour for over a thousand turns, the release pipeline, and the community. When something breaks at 3 a.m., one of us fixes it.
All three games are free to play. A House Divided is supported by players on Patreon, which covers the servers and keeps the world running. MetroForge and Electioneer are free while they are in active development.
The fastest way to reach us is the Discord, where most of the community lives. For anything else, contact@lakesidegames.net reaches both of us.
